Q: What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. Yeah, yeah, I know. The Hunger Games IS fabulous, but books 2 and 3 sort of ruined it. Everyone was crazy over it, and I was like, "OKAY. GOTTA READ THE REST OF THE SERIES NOW." I was still pumped up from the awesome plot of book 1. I got disappointed after I read Catching Fire! To be honest, after reading Catching Fire, I wasn't anxious to read Mockingjay at all, even though Mockingjay was a better book. This is one of those series in which the first book is more fabulous than the rest. Oh well!

Oh no, you didn't enjoy Catching Fire? I really enjoyed all of the books of the series, though the first book will always be my favourite :)

I personally didn't like The Hunger Games and couldn't even get half way into Catching Fire. I just finally gave up, I will watch the movies..LOL. :) Old follower.
ReplyDeleteI actually like Book 2 and 3. So said you didn't. Old follower! :)

Thanks for stopping by My FF!
I loved The Hunger Games book and The Hunger Games Trilogy as a whole but I will agree that Catching Fire and Mockingjay did not live up to its hype..for me I was more let down by Mockingjay, it was just outright depressing.

I loved the Hunger Games series, but I never understood the hype either... mostly because of a book called Battle Royale. -_-
