Hey everyone, today, Jessica Therrien's UPRISING, Children of the Gods #2, is out! Anyways, this is a virtual launch party post, obviously. There's a blog tour coming up in June, so stay tuned! 1) Write a post on your blog about your
favorite supernatural power or what you think it would be like if a supernatural race was exposed to human society.
I don't know why, but speculating is probably my favorite thing to do. Okay. Supernatural powers. This just all reminds me of Kristin Cashore's Graceling series where the gracelings have graces- basically, supernatural powers. I think telekinesis might be cool, like Matilda. Erm, mind-reading? I wouldn't really like that if my head was crowded with noise all the time. I think Elyse, the main character of Children of the Gods, has a really cool power. Healing. I mean, how cool would that be?! If a supernatural race were exposed to human society, they would undoubtedly either 1) rise to power and take over the world, or 2) be captured and displayed in a zoo-thing for being a threat to humanity.
