I'm just stacking these on and not reading. (I know, I'm bad.)

Well I didn't get all these books at once, I was just waiting to get enough books to make a book haul post.

1. Cy in Chains

I don't know, it doesn't seem like my usual type of book, but it is historical fiction. And yeah. For educational purposes. Let's see how it is.

2. The Secrets of Lily Graves

If anything, those jackets just make dudes look like douches. Well, please please please be a good romance...

3. Liv, Forever

Seemed interesting. Creepy, but interesting.

4. 1000 Places To See Before You Die

I probably won't pick it up until after I finish school, but.... 

5. The Time Traveler's Wife

This is definitely one of the best books I've read. Like, ever. Click here to see my review.

2. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

This one seemed really interesting. Plus, it's a bestseller. Plus, it was three dollars. LOL.

3. Venom by Fiona Paul

I told myself I would stop buying books for now BUT NO I couldn't resist. 4 dollars only. Hardcover, brand new. omg. Can't wait to read this one.

..AND I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THIS IS THE THIRD BOOK IN A TRILOGY. OH MY GOD. I'M SO DONE

2. The Lazarus Machine by Paul Crilley

This one looked interesting. It's historical fiction, too. I'll have to give it a go.

3. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I FINALLY GOT IT! MUCH THANKS TO ALEXIS AT Escape Reality Through Books for giving me this early birthday present! MUAHAHA. I love it. omg. I can't wait to get started.

Another haul, yep. (Snatched these during my library shift. YAY. BOOKS.)

1. The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries, Vol. 1: Origins

I. Freaking. Love. TVD. And I saw this, so I snatched it. And plus, Paul has a nice nose. How can I not take it when it has his nice nose on it. Anyways, I wasn't planning to read TVD because of its major differences to the TV show, but we'll see how it goes.

2. Crewel by Gennifer Albin

I saw this one a while back and fell in love with the cover. I'm glad that I finally have a chance to read it now!

3. Otherkin by Nina Berry

This one looked interesting. We'll see!

Received this one as a review copy. Looking forward to it!

2. Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys

Ruta Sepetys is a really good author. This book looks really good. Got this one a few weeks ago, but didn't get to make a haul post.

3. They Call Me a Hero by Daniel Hernandez

This one looked interesting. Got this one a while back, too.

4. The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

Out of this bunch, this book is the one that I'm looking forward to, most. In fact, I think I might drop Anna Karenina for a while to read this book..

Book Haul (Mini)- 4

Today was the last day of Book Club for the year of 2012-2013. (And there was an AP Bio meeting today. Grr. Mr. Doan..) So sad! Cynthia brought in ARCs and I snagged these right before the AP Bio meeting LOLOL. Behold, peeps! My mini-haul.



1. To Be Perfectly Honest by Sonya Sones.

I don't know. It looked like a contemporary book, and I really needed one. Like right now.

2. Shadowlands by Kate Brian.

Gorgeous cover? You can say that again! It looks interesting.

3. Not a Drop To Drink by Mindy McGinnis.

I'm still not over my non-dystopian phase. Well, we'll just see how this one is, sooner or later..

4. Panic by Sharon M. Draper.

Been wanting to read this for a while, though, but I still have a hate that burns with passion for butterflies..

Book Haul (Mini)- 3

So, on Tuesday, I went to the NYMBC event in San Francisco, and met David Levithan and Andrea Cremer for the second time, and Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia for the first! Nina Lacour couldn't come and we missed her terribly! :( So Kami came instead, and graced us with her presence.

I wanted to buy more books, but I needed to start saving money and restrained myself from buying the whole bookstore-- and after all, I only have two arms. Here's my mini haul:

Icons by Margaret Stohl
She was on the Icons tour, and it sounds really interesting! Can't wait to get started. She said this was a memoir, LOL. Margaret seems really nice and she's very humorous!

Paper Towns by John Green
I had to get this one. My second John Green book! Can't wait to get started.

Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
I need to see what the buzz is all about. Sounds interesting, and that cover!

Book Haul- 5

Yeah, I spent money again. LOL. There was a book fair at the middle school and I just COULDN'T MISS IT. Why aren't there book fairs in high school?! UGH. Maybe it's because our librarian is such a mean old fart It was so beautiful, ermahgerd. Well, here's a picture of the beautiful setup...

And, the book haul:

1. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

I am aware this is a classic and I just HATE classics-- but I've got to give Anna Karenina a try. I hope it ends up being worth the 13 dollars, omg. And besides, the cover has Jude Law in the background!! ERMAHGERD!!

2. Chime by Franny Billinosley.

It just looked good, LOL.

3. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein.

High recommendation from friend!

4. Darker Still by Leanna Renee Hieber.

I just couldn't resist the offer, (3 dollars!) and it just looked so interesting.

5. Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys.

I have this thing for historical fiction. I'm just ready for people to say, OMG YOU'RE READING FIFTY SHADES OF GREEEEEEEY and I'll just reply, no. Just no. Although I'm planning on reading that soon..

6. Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers.

I'm excited about this one. High recommendation from a friend. Been wanting to read this for a while, and it looks like something I would enjoy!

Book Haul-8.

So, I spent about 100 dollars. omg. This was an Amazon book haul, so I'm currently waiting for these to arrive.

1- Mystic City by Theo Lawrence.

Yes, this book is at my city's library. I even shelved it there when I was volunteering. But I told myself the first time to check it out next time, since I was crazy busy.  And the next time, it was gone. And then it was checked in again, but then gone again. Man, people must want to read it as badly as I do. Yeah, I got irritated and just decided to buy it instead. LOL. I can't wait to read it. The cover is gorgeous and the synopsis is absolutely captivating.

2-Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.

I read this already, but I have my own reasons of wanting to own it. LOL. One of them is that it's a REALLY, REALLY, GOOD BOOK.

3-Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi.

I just decided to buy the print copy instead of burning my half-blind eyes out with the ebook. Can't wait. Tahereh Mafi is amazing.

4-Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Two words: Hot. Guy.
I need some hot-fictional-guy-character vibe like right now. And I heard this was pretty good, so, let me give it a try!

5-Angelfall by Susan Ee.

So, my friend was absolutely raving about this book-- and we have almost the same tastes. So I've got to read this.

6-The Host by Stephenie Meyer.

I'm a Steph Meyer fan. Sort of. LOL. I thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight series and I really want to read The Host! I think that desire came from the recent movie release.

7-The Selection by Kiera Cass.

I've read this, LOL. It's really good. But I need to own it. I have my reasons.

8-The Elite by Kiera Cass.

Ah, The Elite. This was preordered, btw. Cannot wait. This is one of my most anticipated reads of 2013.. -squeals-
